Skye Humphries and Naomi Uyama Workshop Weekend

Only 3 more weeks until the Skye and Naomi weekend, November 26-28. So far there are dancers coming from 6 states. There is still time to register at discounted prices by November 17. Classes are included for all levels covering a variety of topics such as fundamentals, partnering, footwork, solo Jazz, slow dancing, as well as rhythm. All good stuff! For those looking for an extra challenge there is a partner routine class.

Saturday night, November 27 will be our next monthly Uptown Swing Dance in Brookline featuring the very fabulous Gordon Webster. For some special treats, Naomi will be singing with the band, Skye and Naomi will perform and the dance has been extended until 12:30am!

Baby Soda

This Friday, November 5, check out the Crosby Whistle Stop for Boston Swing Central’s dance, this week featuring Baby Soda from NYC! We were excited to host Baby Soda back in May at Uptown Swing for their debut Boston performance and everyone had a fabulous time. Variety is what keeps dancing interesting, and it is great that we have these opportunities with visiting bands here in our local scene. We are looking forward to a really fun night! For info:
