The Michael and Evita weekend is almost here and it is going to be awesome! There is a full schedule of activities to keep everyone dancing from Friday evening through Sunday. Great music, great classes and plenty of great local and visiting dancers!
Uptown Swing Dance
Please join us this Saturday, April 16 for our next Uptown Swing Dance at our wonderful venue, Brookline Tai Chi. This month features the always outstanding Toni Lynn Washington Band! Toni is an amazing singer reminiscent of all the female greats from the early days of Swing. All levels are welcome and no partners are needed. There is a lesson included which precedes the dance, so please bring your friends to give them a taste of what Swing is all about. Also featured during the evening will be a demo with Michael and Evita that you won’t want to miss. Extra for this month, the dance has been extended to run until 12:30am.
BTC is conveniently located on Beacon Street directly across from the Washington Square T stop. Street parking is free after 6:00pm.

Michael & Evita Workshop Weekend
The wait is over. Be prepared for a phenomenal weekend of workshops with Michael and Evita! Classes are scheduled for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 15-17, all at the Lower Falls Community Center in Newton Lower Falls. Join fellow dancers from 6 states. There are classes for all levels including beginners.

Monday Lindy Hop/Swing Classes This Week!
New classes and a new format for Monday classes starting April 18! Classes include Beginner Swing/Intro to Lindy Hop Level 1 and Lindy Hop Level 2 plus practice time following each class. A great opportunity to work on what you have just learned! Classes are held at Ruggles Baptist Church in Boston near Fenway Park. Very convenient by public transportation, free parking available.
If you are planning to attend and have not already done so, it would be helpful if you would submit an on-line registration to speed up check-in. You can pay in advance by credit card through PayPal or at the first class by check or cash.

Sunday Lindy Hop/Swing Classes
New classes in Beginner Swing/Intro to Lindy Hop Level 1 and Lindy Hop Level 2 will be starting on Sunday, May 1 in Newton Lower Falls, conveniently accessible by car or T, free parking available.
Also on Sundays in Newton is a new Partner Charleston class covering tandem and side-by-side variations to add to your Lindy Hop repertoire. Charleston is fun, it’s flashy, and we’ll be focusing on execution and pizazz to make it shine! Prerequisite is a solid foundation of Lindy Hop basics.
