Please bring a pair of clean dry shoes for dancing to help protect the beautiful wooden floor. Either clean dry sneakers (smoother soles have less traction and are better, allowing for easy turning) or soft-soled flat dance shoes. (Please, no hard soled, or black rubber soled shoes that leave marks.) Please change shoes on the entrance mat to help prevent outside wet, salt and grit from getting on the wooden floor. It is suggested that you check directions using a street map.

Cadbury Road is a very small road off Sherman Street, across from the park, Fresh Pond area.

By Car

Directions from Route 128/I-95:

1. Take exit 29A (Arlington/Cambridge) off I-95 onto Route 2 East heading towards Boston.
2. After about 6.5 miles Route 2 appears to end at traffic lights. Stay in the right lane. (Alewife T stop is on your right.)
3. At the light follow the road as it bends right (which is Route 2/3).
4. Shortly you will come to a light with Alewife T stop entrance road on the right, and Rindge Avenue at the next light on the left. Unfortunately you are not allowed to turn left, so to turn down Rindge Avenue you must continue straight to the rotary, and then come back to turn right down Rindge Avenue.
5. Stay on Rindge Avenue for about 0.4 miles, and at the third light turn right onto Sherman Street.
6. Continue down Sherman Street for about 0.4 miles until you see a playing field on your right, then look for Cadbury Road which is a very small road on the left opposite the park. (You will have crossed a railway line, and passed Jose's Mexican Restaurant on your right.)
7. The Cambridge Friends School is a few yards down on the left.
8. Parking is available on the street, and in the school parking lot past the school on the left behind some houses.
9. Enter by the main front entrance.

Directions from Porter Square T stop:

1. Porter Square T stop on the Red Line.
2. T information is available at: www.mbta.com
3. Exit Porter Square T Station onto the street and walk across Massachusetts Avenue to Upland Road.
4. Follow Upland Road for about 0.4 miles (about 6 blocks) to Raymond Street.
5. Turn right on Raymond Street and follow 1 block (beside the park).
6. Turn left onto Walden Street, go half a block and turn right onto Wood Street.
7. Follow Wood Street 1 block and turn left onto Cadbury Road.
8. The Cambridge Friends School main front entrance is a few yards down on the right.

Directions from Alewife T stop:

1. Alewife T stop on the Red Line.

3. Exit Alewife T Station onto the street and turn left.
4. Walk a short distance to the light and cross over the busy main road (which is Route 2/3).
5. Turn right and very shortly you will come to Rindge Avenue on the left. Turn left onto Rindge Avenue.
6. Stay on Rindge Avenue for about 0.4 miles, and at the third light turn right onto Sherman Street.

Directions using #74 Belmont Bus from Harvard Square, Cambridge:

1. Take the #74 Belmont Bus from Harvard Station.

4. Walk 3-4 blocks to the right down Walden Street to Sherman Street.
5. Take a left onto Sherman Street (Masse Hardware is on the corner).
6. Turn right onto Cadbury Road.
7. The Cambridge Friends School is a few yards down on the left.
8. Enter by the main front entrance.

Directions using #77 North Cambridge Bus from Harvard Square, Cambridge:

1. Take the #77 North Cambridge Bus from Harvard Station.

3. Get off at Walden Street (Kentucky Fried Chicken is on the corner).
4. Walk down Walden Street for several blocks until you come to Wood Street.
5. Turn right onto Wood Street.
6. Follow Wood Street 1 block and turn left onto Cadbury Road.
7. The Cambridge Friends School main front entrance is a few yards down on the right.
