International Lindy Hop Workshop Series

Warren Heyes

of the

Jiving Lindy Hoppers
London, England

Saturday, April 15
Sunday, April 16
2000

Warren, one of the world's most experienced Lindy Hop dancers, is a member of the London based Jiving Lindy Hoppers, which he co-founded in 1984. In their desire to get the world Lindy Hopping, the JLH have inspired millions through constant touring in Europe, four visits to Japan, numerous demonstration/teaching stints in different continents and periodic visits to the USA. They have won major awards for both their performances and their pioneering work in education. In 1999, the JLH were featured in a PBS special and a one week tour with the Boston Pops Orchestra. They are currently in the midst of the ten week coast-to-coast Swingtime! tour with the 10 piece New York City Jazz All-Star Orchestra led by Warren Vaché. We diligently tried for a long time to get Warren back to our area for workshops and are excited about his return after the U.S. tour. Join us for this great weekend of workshops!

Be sure not to miss Swingtime! at one of its New England area dates! (Click here for tour information.)
