Please bring clean comfortable shoes to change into. Either sneakers or flat soft-soled dance shoes are suitable. No shoes that have been worn outside are permitted in the dance studio in order to keep outside dirt and grit from damaging the floor. Please change shoes in the hallway before entering the studio.

Classes are in the third floor Groundwerx Movement Center studio above Perishable Theatre. You may also wish to bring a bottle of water to drink during class.

By Car

From the North:

1. Take I-95 South to Exit 21 (Atwells Avenue).
2. At the top of the ramp go straight at light crossing Atwells Avenue.
3. At next light go left onto Broadway.
4. As road curves, keep right (Empire Street). You will see the Civic Center on your left and police/fire station on your right.
5. Go through two lights crossing Washington Street and Groundwerx Movement Center is on the left-hand side of Empire Street between AS220 and Citizen's Bank above Perishable Theatre.
6. Classes are in the third floor studio.

From the South:

1. Take I-95 North to Exit 21 (Broadway).
2. At top of the ramp take right at light onto Broadway.
3. As road curves, keep right (Empire Street). You will see the Civic Center on your left and police/fire station on your right.
4. Go through two lights crossing Washington Street and Groundwerx Movement Center is on the left-hand side of Empire Street between AS220 and Citizen's Bank above Perishable Theatre.
5. Classes are in the third floor studio.

From the East:

1. Take I-195 West to I-95 North.
2. Follow directions From the South.

From the West:

1. Take Route 6 to downtown Providence.
2. After exiting pass the Westin Hotel on right. Take a right, and then another right onto Sabin Street.
3. Follow Sabin Street past the Convention Center until you must take a left onto Empire Street.
4. Follow Empire Street through two lights crossing Washington Street.
5. Groundwerx Movement Center is on the left-hand side of Empire Street between AS220 and Citizen's Bank above Perishable Theatre.
6. Classes are in the third floor studio.

Parking:

1. Street parking is available on both sides of Empire Street.
2. Additional street parking is available on Greene Street. Go to the next intersection, turn right on Broad Street at the light and first right onto Greene Street. You can walk across the plaza back to Empire Street.
