Michael Jagger & Evita Arce Workshop Weekend

Next Wednesday, April 6 is the last discount date to register for Lindy Hop workshops with Michael & Evita on April 15-17! Guaranteed you will love their classes, and them! They are excellent instructors, full of technique, style, grace and pizazz! Classes for all levels will be held at Lower Falls Community Center in Newton. The weekend will also include our monthly Uptown Swing dance in Brookline featuring the Toni Lynn Washington Band and a performance with Michael & Evita. Register now to get the discount.

Workshop Housing Request

We have 3 dancers attending the Michael and Evita workshops from Albany who are looking for a place to stay just for Saturday night. It is one couple and a male. They have their own car so do not need help with transportation. We would appreciate very much if you would let us know if you are able to host them. Thanks!

New Session Lindy Hop/Swing Classes

Information on our next 6 week session is now up! We have a few format and time changes for the next session. Monday classes will be starting on April 18 and are held at the Ruggles Baptist Church in Boston near Fenway Park. Practice time will be included after both the Level 1 and Level 2 classes, a great opportunity to work on what you have just learned in class! Sunday classes will be starting on May 1 at Lower Falls Community Center in Newton.

New classes in Beginner Swing/Intro to Lindy Hop Level 1 and Lindy Hop Level 2 will be offered in both locations, conveniently accessible by car or T as well as free parking available.

Also on Sundays in Newton is a new Partner Charleston class covering tandem and side-by-side moves to add to your Lindy Hop repertoire while focusing on execution and pizazz to make it shine. Prerequisite is a solid foundation of Lindy Hop basics.
