Lindy Hop Swing & Balboa Class Session

The next 6 week session starts Sunday evenings on March 6 in Newton and Monday evenings on March 7 in Boston. New classes in Beginner Swing/Intro to Lindy Hop Level 1 and Lindy Hop Level 2 will be offered in both locations, conveniently accessible by car or T with free parking available.

Also coming up on Sunday in Newton is a new class for intermediate to advanced Lindy Hoppers on Dancing with Musicality & Flow. The goal will be to transform your dancing beyond just doing steps, focusing on connecting with the music and with your partner in a smooth, fluid way.

On Monday nights in Boston we’ll be continuing Balboa with an intermediate level class focusing on technique and style, combining moves, and new variations. This class will follow on from the beginner class and be appropriate for anyone already familiar with Balboa core moves.

Uptown Swing Dance

Join us Saturday, February 19 for the next monthly Uptown Swing Dance in Brookline featuring The Love Dogs, always a popular band! Join us for a hot night of Swing and Jump Blues music to keep everyone on the dance floor. Beginners are very welcome and you do not need to have a partner. The music will be great for Lindy Hop, Swing, Balboa and even some Blues. Bring your friends and introduce them to a fun night of dancing! More information.

Michael & Evita Workshop Weekend

Mark your calendar for Michael Jagger & Evita Arce’s weekend of Lindy Hop workshops on April 15-17! The classes will all be held at Lower Falls Community Center in Newton. The weekend will also include our monthly Uptown Swing dance in Brookline featuring the Toni Lynn Washington Band and a performance with Michael & Evita. These two are excellent instructors and performers and just about the nicest people you could meet:-) The class schedule is coming soon. More information.
